Centre for Health and Wellbeing Research (CHWR) lunchtime seminar – Research Dissemination: Challenges and Opportunities

Posted on 9 September 2011, submitted by Ruth Hughes-Rowlands

With the emergence of more virulent antibiotic resistant bacteria in community settings understanding the pathogenesis of infection and ways to control the infection are important. At this seminar you will hear Emmanuel Adukwu, a CHWR PhD student, talk of his recent experience at The American Society of Microbiology 111th General Meeting, in New Orleans, Louisiana in the United States of America. In addition, the seminar will also include a session focussing on developing productive academic partnerships. Led by Karen Lewis, part of The University of Northampton’s award winning Research Management Team, this session will help you to identify or create networking opportunities, find potential funding sources that may enable you to attend and give you tips on making the most of your network contacts. See flyer for further details (PDF 285KB).

A sandwich lunch will be provided to attendees.

1-2pm Wednesday 14 September 2011.

Rockingham Room, King’s Park Conference Rooms, King’s Park Rd, Moulton Park, Northampton.
