Learning at Work Day is Thursday 17 May 2012. We would like to invite staff with a hobby or interest that they are prepared to share with other members of staff, to facilitate a session on the day. The Campaign for Learning national theme this year is ‘Learning for Growth’ so we would be interested in any sessions that fit under this heading but we are also pleased to accept sessions that are more diverse.
Over the last few years we have been able to offer a variety of sessions such as Line Dancing, Hatha Yoga, Who were the Victorians, and Wildlife on Campus, plus plenty more. The day has now become an annual tradition at the University that staff can enjoy and look forward to, and we would like to make the event this year the biggest and best yet and to do that we need your help. Remember, the University Executive Team have approved two hours from your working day to attend activities, so if you are unable to facilitate a session, please try and keep the date free so you are able to attend a session or two. Please contact wendy.skidmore@northampton.ac.uk if you are able to offer a session or if you have any suggestions.
