The University is conducting a project that has been approved by the UET which will reduce the carbon footprint and cost of printing across the University. This will have an effect on how photocopying and printing are conducted within the libraries from now on. To use this new service staff will be required to know their payroll number and TALIS pin number. Improvements to events publishing on the University website

Changes have been made to how events information is published on the website, allowing categorisation of events and dedicated RSS feeds for external events, staff events and student events.

iNorthampton – The University of Northampton app

In support of Welcome Weekend, a joint University team involving IS, Learning Technology and Marketing have launched a new free app – iNorthampton. The app is available now on Android and iOS and will be available on Blackberry by the end of September. Through the app, prospects, staff and current students can access maps, images and YouTube playlists, as well as course information, staff directory, timetables, news, library catalogues, and NILE.
